The Fire Belly Toad is a hardy, active amphibian known for its bright green and black patterned back and striking orange-red belly. These social toads are fun to watch and make an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced amphibian keepers.

✔ Diet: Carnivore – feeds on crickets, small roaches, earthworms, black soldier fly larvae, and other appropriately sized live insects dusted with calcium and vitamins.
How to Care for Your Fire Belly Toads
✔ Provide a paludarium or semi-aquatic setup with both land and shallow water areas.
✔ Use dechlorinated water and maintain excellent water quality with regular water changes or gentle filtration.
✔ Include live plants, moss, cork bark, rocks, and hiding places to create a natural environment.
✔ Feed a varied diet of gut-loaded live insects 2–4 times per week.
✔ Keep them in groups when possible, as they are naturally social and often do well with other Fire Belly Toads.
With proper care, Fire Belly Toads can live 10–15 years or more, making them a rewarding and long-lived addition to any amphibian collection.
